Introduction
Today I've decided to make a little tutorial/explanation/web documentary about what I'm doing when I look like this:

I'm doing this for several reasons...
I don't think a lot of people have a very clear idea of what goes on behind the scenes to make the music they listen to. I find people either think it is quite simple (press record on the machine and then burn a CD in a computer) or extremely complicated (book studio time, spend 6 months doing overdubs). In my opinion, the more you know about the process that goes into a recording, the more refined your tastes can become. So this is all a part of my quest to get people to listen to good music.
On a purely personal level, I spend a lot of time in front of my computer with my headphones on. It's hard to succinctly explain what I'm doing when people ask, but I think a series of web sites is a good medium for showing how this all works.
Also, I am lucky enough to be involved in the production of the new Groanbox Boys album. I want to show off, give some samples from the upcoming CD, and perhaps raise awareness about the album in general.
Finally, I want to practice my web design skills. Let me know what I need to work on.
All of the music on this website is owned and copywritten by the Groanbox Boys.
Headphones on? Volume up? Let's begin. Step one, The recording.
