In June of 2006 my brother Cory and I were hired to write music and do sound design for a new play by Fabrice Macaux in the suburbs of Paris. The play took place in three different buildings on the grounds of a 13th century abbey-cum-modern art gallery in Maubuisson.
We wrote the music together with Fabrice and the actors, and by the end we had a vast array of different styles of music. We used guitars, samplers, computers, chanting, rapping, and more to create the environment of an artist going completely crazy. It was good fun.
Afterwards I was asked to produce a CD of the music. Here are a few songs from that recording.
