Carnegie Mellon University's ETC contacted The Amazing Rolo in February 2006. They needed music for a short animated cartoon, and they needed it in a week!
The cartoon was "Don on the Farm", a co-production of the ETC, Wos Studios, and PMI Digital, and part of a TV show pilot called Once Upon a Toon.
They were looking for happy, down-home, acoustic sounding music with leitmotifs for each character. Apparently they were pleased, because once this project was finished, I eventually wrote the music for the other segments of the pilot.
